Level Testing starts this weekend! Your first test is signing up. You are a no-go at this station if you haven’t registered. The tests are under workshops. We have been getting lots of questions regarding which level to test at and requests to preview your movements which is awesome!! We want you to keep a few things in mind. First, we want you to succeed! The levels are a way for us to better design programming and a way for you to set goals. Start at the level you know you can pass. Second, this isn’t a one time thing! We will test often…like monthly. So, if you’re unsure about the level to test at, check your ego at the door, go one down and then test the next level next month. This isn’t a race to level 6. You should be aiming to pass all 10 skills at the test not finding the level you hope to eek out 8/10. This is about responsible goal setting and your HEALTH. Moreover, we are looking for near flawless technique on Every.Single.Rep. With that, let’s look at the STANDARDS for Level 3:
Be a Good Gym Member. Don’t throw the plates around or stand on them. They weren’t designed for those types of stresses and it breaks them down faster. They may seem indestructible, but they’re more like delicate flowers. Respect the flowers. Stack them evenly on top of each other and place them on the floor.
