Saturday night, MVMNT Striking instructor, Annie DeCrescrente fights in Columbia, SC at the Conflict 19 MMA Fight Club Series. Be sure to send her good vibes and go like her athlete page here if you haven’t already!! Annie is taking a small vacation after the fight. Her weekday classes will be cancelled Wednesday, Aug 6-Monday, Aug 18th. Mario’s Saturday classes are still a go. These classes are open to the general public. Just let us know if you’re bringing a friend. Gloves and handwraps are in stock now.
August 9 is Powerlifting for Pups! Greg will be competing in his first powerlifting meet along with several Team PrettyStrong members. The event is at AK CrossFit. Again, we’re all going and so should you! Please come out and support!
August 16th is the USAPL Coaches Certification Course. If you’re interested in expanding your knowledge base, contact us to get signed up. All classes will be cancelled this day.
August 17th is CF101: Getting the most out of training at 12pm. You need this class in order to level test. Levels go into effect beginning September 2nd. After August, CF101 workshops will become quarterly.
August 23rd we test Levels 1/2 at 10:30am and August 24th we test Levels 3/4 at 11am. You must sign up in advance in order to test. You should have your notebook and required equipment, ie. your personal jump rope, knee high socks, etc.
September and October calendars are already filling up with competitions, workshops and certifications. Feel free to break your lease and move into the gym.
