HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!
To our coaches, members, friends and family that have supported Mario and I and our decision to create our own brand of functional fitness, THANK YOU. This is a huge milestone in the fitness world and for any small business. It is because of everyone reading this right now, that we continue to get the opportunity everyday to better ourselves, you and this community. We are excited to keep improving for the next five years.
There are some special people that deserve special recognition. So, here goes….
Liliana Carlomagno. This kid has spent more time in the gym, talking about the gym, listening to us talk about the gym, dreaming about the gym, sometimes being annoyed about the gym than any kid should have to. She has been a champion since day zero and we can’t wait until she becomes an instructor one day.
The Original Staff. Greg Pellerito, Eric Lauterbach, Vanessa Gale, and David Bell, all of which are still part of this gym five years later. We are very thankful for your tireless effort as instructors, construction workers, and friends. I challenge any member to go to other gyms or businesses and find the original staff still going strong. We are forever in your debt.
It is with bittersweet congrats, we say goodbye to Eric Lichtfuss, an OG, who leaves for Florida tomorrow to start an anesthesiology assistant program. We wish him much success in his next chapter.
The New Staff. Jon Burlow, Bethany Tharp, Lyndzey Dare, and Amanda Carroll. These four people all started as members years ago at our original location and eventually made the greatest decision of their lives: become MVMNT coaches. Trent Brumfield. Trent’s been teaching for us for almost two years and brought a new level of fitness to the gym (As of today, he is the only Level 5 athlete at the gym).
The New New Staff. Braden Moran, Amelia Austin, Laura Hicks, and Mark Sauro. We are lucky to attract some of the best talent in the biz. Each of these people bring their own subject matter expertise to the gym. We look forward to their help developing MVMNT by our sides.
The Original Members. Patrice Pollock, Lori Borger, Barb Reilly, Toni Flinn, Jenn Weyand, Maggie Flinn, Niki Lemley, Sarah Elliott, Joseph Elliott, Shannon Bohannon, Cameron Watson, Casie Pollock, John Livergood, Sally Dobinson, and Clark Kirby. Your progress, dedication and consistency speaks volumes. Thank you for continuing to show up to the gym and give it your all.
Peter Hardy. Not only did Peter become a member in 2011, he became a mentor to Mario, me and the whole staff. He has given us the tools and confidence to become MVMNT.
We can never thank each of you enough. Instead, we will strive to make MVMNT Gym the best it can possibly be for many more years to come.
