Read-Accepting Your CrossFit Body from Life Rx’ed.
“Really truly loving your body, all the time, is a tremendous task. There is no secret formula, recipe or workout that will help guide you into body image bliss. But I do believe if we start to accept that we need new clothes. If we accept skinny jeans aren’t for us. If we learn to dress our bodies and fill our closet with clothing that helps us feel sexy and confident, we will be well on our way to loving our new, strong, and powerful bodies.
Although athletic apparel has an incredible way of showing off our beautiful muscle, sadly we can’t live in REEBOK and LULULEMON for the rest of our lives. I don’t think you can show up to your sister’s wedding in a sports bra and tank top.”

Sunday-Two things to see and do. Head to CrossFit HD and watch Team CFSQ powerhouse through three workouts in Sun’s Out, Gun’s Out starting at noon. Mark Sauro, Bethany & Jason Tharp, Maggie Flinn, Sara Ann, and Shabo round out the team (there’s room for two more if you’re interested!) and they want to see your smiling faces cheering them on!
If you’re not in the mood for a CrossFit fest, get your eat on. A group of us are heading to the Square for Taste of Marietta after Sunday’s Olympic weightlifting class. Anyone and everyone is welcome to hangout with us…proper MVMNT/CFSQ attire required 🙂 Meet us at the gym around 1:00 pm and we’ll walk over.
