For the vast majority of us, the Open isn’t about making it to the Games or Regionals or even being at the top of the gym’s internal leaderboard. It’s about coming to together as a community to see how far we’ve come over these last few years or even just a few months. It’s about accountability and teamwork and pushing a little harder. It is unlike your regular daily workout. It makes you nervous the night before. It gets you revved up a little more than usual. It causes you evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and plan and execute a course of action. Testing yourself is a good thing. Team CFSQ is standing strong at 22 members. Who will be next? Parents Night Out! Drop off your kids from 7-9pm on Friday, Feb 20th, for kids CrossFit and games. Go enjoy a few hours of peace and quiet. Ages 6+. $15 for first child. $10 for additional siblings. Please RSVP to ivy@crossfitonthesquare.com.
