CrossFit Marietta Square Kettlebell Snatch Women

ATTENTION: CrossFit, Kettlebell, and Strength Athletes, EVERYONE!! We’re going to make it easy for you to do a good deed on Friday: COME TO CLASS.

CFSQ is home to a few outstanding citizens: Deyanna Repress, Lea Levine and Molly Levine-Hunt. Deyanna is the Director of Community Affairs for Comcast. Lea is the Program Director for Camp Horizon of Georgia and her sister, Molly, the Materials Manager. Deyanna approached us with an idea to help raise money for the charity of our choice. Each year Comcast puts on Comcast Cares Day. Deyanna oversees volunteer projects across the state. For every person that shows up to one of the projects, Comcast donates $15 to a charity. Enter CrossFit on the Square.

This Friday, April 25th, 2014: For every member that shows up for class, Comcast donates $15 to Camp Horizon. It doesn’t get easier than that to do some good in our community. Come to the gym and exercise and Lea and Molly get some extra cash for Camp Horizon’s annual summer camp. Think of it as Comcast covering your entrance fee for a Camp Horizon WOD fundraiser.

Stop what you’re doing right now (except Bill. Bill, if you’re in the middle of brain surgery: carry on). Sign up to come to class on Friday. Any class. Every class on our regular schedule that day qualifies for Comcast Cares Day. If you don’t normally come on Fridays…make an exception.

Camp Horizon offers year-round, no-cost programs to Metro Atlanta’s children, teens and young adults, aged 8-23, in foster care, living in Cobb, Dekalb, Fulton and Gwinnett counties.
Mission: Working to restore dignity and hope to children and teens who have been abused and neglected — empowering them to make good decisions and lead healthy, productive lives.
