Happy Birthday to Nicole! “And though she be but little, she is fierce.” Nicole is an all round badass. A former South Carolina Gamecocks cheerleader and close friend of the Atlanta Braves, Nicole has been backflipping her way to help her best friend, Katie, fight cancer. Together with some former teammates, Nicole organized “Cancer Can’t Do Backflips,” a nonprofit campaign to rally support, raise awareness and fund her treatment. The hashtag spread like wildfire and cheer leading squads, volleyball teams, football teams (the list goes on) from all over the country held fundraisers and uploaded video after video of backflips. You can find them here. It has been awesome watching Nicole’s effort over the last year and Katie’s road to recovery. Cheers!
