When she’s not on Spring Break, Mitzi is kicking ass on the platform (Deadlift PR last night!!) and behind the scenes as CFSQ’s executive admin. Mitzi will drop anything to help the staff or any member with any issue that’s going on all with a giant smile on her face. We are grateful to have her on our team. Happy Birthday, Mitzi!!

MVMNT Striking with Annie DeCrescente starts next week. A little about your new instructor: Annie was an all American college wrestler at the University of the Cumberlands and has 3 years of high school wrestling coaching experience. She is an amateur MMA fighter out of Striker Fight Center in Kennesaw, GA. She has won “Fight of the Night” and is nominated for “Fight of the Year.” Annie is currently ranked #3 Pound-for-Pound Female Fighter on GeorgiaFighters.com. She specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing and American boxing. Annie’s Monday and Wednesday night classes will combine basic heavy bag striking skills (punching, kicking, elbows, etc.) and high intensity conditioning. Classes start at 5:15pm and are free to all members (and your friends!) in July and August. Gloves and hand wraps required. All levels welcome. No experience required.
Kids MVMNT Weekly Summer Camp is back on next week with Coach Lyndzey! Each camp is Monday-Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. $60 for ages 8-13. Discounts available. Registration is under workshops.
HELP CAMP HORIZON LOAD A TRUCK!! Tomorrow Night, Molly and Lea are looking for a few good volunteers for some extra conditioning after the 5pm class. They will be at the gym at 6pm to caravan a few miles away to load a ton of stuff into a moving truck for Camp Horizon. Not long ago, you all were able to make a difference simply by showing up to workout and a donation was made on your behalf. Here’s you chance to really help some friends in need. Molly predicts it will take less than an hour if we can get half a dozen folks to help. The warehouse is close to the gym. It will only take a little bit of your time. You’ll have helped the biggest event Camp Horizon does all year. SEE YOU THERE!!
