It’s day 13 of the Whole Life Challenge. If you aren’t participating, this picture is a glimpse of what’s going on. A great group of people are checking in daily to make improvements in their lives. We are tracking our nutrition and exercise, mobilizing and stretching, taking our supplements, drinking more water, and sharing our struggles and victories everyday. Only two weeks in and it’s impressive to see some of the changes taking place.
There are many paths to the mountaintop. What matters is that you take one. Being aware of the path is what’s important. Who cares if someone gets there “first?” That’s not your life. Your life is your life, your choices are your choices, and your path is your path. Could you speed up the process if you did things that made you miserable? Maybe, but the top is really no different from the path. So if you’re not enjoying the journey, you won’t enjoy the destination – guaranteed.
If you get zero points every day, and you check in daily, you’re on the path. There is no rule about a perfect score. Sooner or later just building the awareness you are practicing causes an evolution in your choices and how you make them. If that takes longer than 56 days it’s not a problem.
The check in gives you a window into how you do business. If you can get a handle on that, the specifics of the choices are up to you. I’m not worried about those. As you wake up, you’ll make the right ones for you.
