The clock will run continuously from the beginning of the run. If you finish the first workout faster than 12 minutes, you have more time to stretch and prepare for part 2.
At 15:00, round one of the volume ladder commences. Perform 1 squat followed by one pull-up (or ring row to scale), rest until 16:00, then perform 2 squats followed by 2 pull-ups, and so on, until you cannot perform the required reps for the round you are on. At this point, continue each minute with a number of squats and pull-ups that you are able to perform without too much difficulty (3 reps minimum) until 30:00 is reached on the clock.
Your score will be your time for part 1 and the highest round you were able to complete in part 2, for example: 9:37/11
