14.1… check! We’ve been looking through photos and videos from the past few days and all we could think was we love this gym… we love these people! I know many of you are doing the Open for the first time this year, and this makes us so excited. We hope you all are proud of yourselves even if you didn’t do as well as you hoped. Remember, some days are just like that. We watched almost 50 people set personal records from getting a higher score than in 2011 to conquering double unders for the first time. Be proud that you showed up and that you’re doing it… you are getting stronger and healthier. Be proud of how far you have come. The work has just begun. Competitors must submit scores by logging into your games.crossfit.com account. Once everyone has submitted their scores, we will validate them. So, if your eager to see your name on the leaderboard, you might want to tell your buddy to stop procrastinating. You can monitor the live CFSQ leaderboard on our events page.
The Kids MVMNT class starts today!
Ages
7-13. If you have a child outside the age range that is interested in participating, please contact us to discuss opportunities for them.
Expectations and Parental Support
Kids may attend as often as they can and want. If your child has a sport schedule, please speak with a CFSQ staff member to discuss the right balance.
Parent – trainer communication is vital to your child’s success. Speak with the trainer to let them know how they may best provide care for your child. Especially let them know if there are any special needs or medications or changes in health status (getting over an illness or growth spurts).
Children should be dressed appropriately for active movement. Tennis shoes, shorts, and cool clothes in the summer and layers in the winter and should bring a water bottle. They will be running, jumping, and spending a little time upside down (please no skirts).
Class Schedule
Class meets Monday through Thursday at 3:30pm for four weeks. Each class will last 45 minutes. Pickup deadline is 4:30pm. A new session starts on the first Monday of every month.
