Practice doesn’t make perfect; practice makes permanent. The idea that practicing something is guaranteed to make it correct is nonsense. You’re simply training yourself to do what you’re doing exactly the way you’re doing it. If attention isn’t given to performing every single repetition as well as possible at that moment, you’re actually making things worse for yourself by further practicing what you’re doing wrong. -Tommy Kono

Tommy Kono is considered the greatest Olympic weightlifter of all time. He is the only person in history to hold world records in 4 weight classes. His accomplishments include: Olympic Gold Medalist 1952,  Olympic Gold Medalist 1956, Olympic Silver Medalist 1960, 7 Time World Champion (1953 – 1959), and 4 Time FICH Mr. World / Universe Bodybuilding Champion. Read Kono’s story about going from a Japanese interment camp to picking up his first barbell.
