Last night, in front of a packed house, Kristy, Maggie and Bethany destroyed 16.1 with extreme prejudice. We couldn’t have asked for a better workout than something with c2b pullups! These Ladies showed us what happens when you combine sound programming with virtuous movement: PROGRESS. In 2015, they all struggled (or had flat out never attempted) a chest to bar pullup. Chest to bars weren’t even a concern last night. It was about finding the right pace for a 20 minute workout. They have set the standard for the rest of the Open.
*Couple of fun facts about Bethany: last night was her third year anniversary at the gym to the day! She got her first strict pullup during the last gymnastics cycle not so long ago. Exactly two weeks ago last night, she did her first ever c2b workout.* She’s riding the gain train.
