Soooooo much mobility, Eric.
Tomorrow: CF101 at 11 am. (Striking is cancelled for this workshop.) Thanks to everyone that has signed up or let us know that you couldn’t make it. We appreciate your involvement!
Enter at your own risk: Do You Know What Your Favorite NPR Hosts Actually Look Like? I clicked the link to post this here, but that’s it. I can’t spoil the images in my head. Colbert already killed my Radiolab fantasy in this interview. And it wouldn’t be fair to plug Colbert without a nod to Jon Stewart. He was on Fresh Air last night and it was awesome. Stewart’s at the top of my list.
We’re coming into that time of year when you find yourself out of town a lot. Traveling isn’t an excuse to stop training. Community: it’s an obvious part of CrossFit. But how do you help build that community? Among other ways, drop into other CrossFit gyms when you’re traveling! It’s always a great experience. It will force you out of comfort zone a little, you meet CrossFitters and you get coaching from someone new. And if you’re in the right place, you could have the pleasure of training with CrossFit pros or celebrities (I dropped into Big Easy CrossFit hoping to run into Sean Peyton..no dice.) Check out Zach Forrest’s gym in Las Vegas. (If you plan to drop-in to someone’s gym, contact them at least 24 hours in advance and let them know you’re coming.)
