Last week, Julie Foucher got the chance to sit down with Bob Harper. You might remember him from NBC’s The Biggest Loser, but in Feb of 2017, Bob Harper suffered from a surprising and near fatal heart attack.

In this episode, Bob Harper talks about how a healthy lifestyle doesn’t replace the need for developing a relationship with a doctor you trust, knowing your risks of cardiovascular and various other diseases, and taking a look “under the hood” at your biomarkers and screening tests from time to time.

“But I really think one thing I’ve learned during this situation is to not sweat the big things or the little things. How important it is. We are so lucky to be here right now. We are fortunate we have our health. We’re here. Don’t get so wrapped up in all the crap. You know when you look at yourself in the mirror, and you’re like, “oh, if I could lose five more pounds,” or “if I could look more like…” or “if I had Julie’s arms…” Or whatever the case. Who cares. None of it, none of it matters. What matters is your friends, your family, the love and support that this community gives us.”   – Bob Harper
